AN EVENING AT WOOD LAKE - PUBLIC LIGHT POLLUTION PANEL & STARGAZING

Learn about Light Pollution, its effect on our region, and what projects Wood Lake Nature Center and Starry Skies North are taking on to combat this growing problem. Join Minnesota author Paul Bogard as he leads a panel discussion around this important yet often overlooked environmental impact.

Hear from local and state experts about light pollution, how it affects animals and birds, and what it means for our health and economics. Panelists include representatives of the Audubon Society, local naturalists, Wood Lake Nature center, and more to be announced soon.

Hosted by Starry Skies North, the panel is followed by a public Q&A and a stargazing event (weather permitting) and a walk to view the night sky. Visit starryskiesnorth.org for the zoom link to join us online, or visit the link below to register and join us in-person. Space is limited, register today.
