Fun Day at McCarthy Beach State Park

We had a great time at McCarthy Beach State Park on Saturday! Fun was had by all at the Dark Sky Festival. The daytime activities were awesome -- solar viewing with Astro Bob's Astronomy for Everyone, an amazing exhibit of Heidi Pinkerton's night sky images Root River Photography, a great presentation by Native Skywatchers, including assembling your own Ojibwe or Dakota/Lakota star map -- fantastic!
